Help my family and try to rebuild their lives

Dear friends,

I am Ahmed Dola from Gaza.

While I am fortunate to be here in Germany in safety, my family is stuck in Gaza fearing for their lives.

My family is desperately seeking your support to help them evacuate to safety.

My family in Gaza has 19 members.

I have 4 sisters and 2 brothers plus their spouses and 9 nephews, my youngest niece is only 1 year old.

My beloved mom is 66 years old and my beloved dad is already 76 and I wasn't able to see them for 7 years due to the blockade.

In the first days the entire family of my sister-in-law got killed by an airstrike in their home as well as my cousin.

My family had to evacuate from our house as our area in Gaza City called Tal-Alhawa was heavily bombed which caused extreme destruction and our house got bombed too.

They had to flee to Deir Albalah in the south of Gaza which turned into a very dangerous area too.

My heart is broken for my beloved family who is suffering from hunger, thirst and malnutrition and living in fear of losing their lives in the next second.

In order to survive my family has to drink polluted ground water mixed with sea water.

Last week my whole family already experienced severe food poisoning.

My dad and mom are out of their medicine as well as my brother who got severly injured by a drone missile in 2008.

My mom, my sisters and the children are suffering psychologically and are traumatized from the massive constant sounds of bombs and very low flying drones and fighter jets. They told me that they feel like losing their minds.

I am deeply worried about my beloved family and I fear for their safety day and night.

It’s so very painful not to talk to them for weeks, not knowing how they are doing and if they are still alive.

I am writing this to ask you for your support to help me evacuate my family from Gaza to Egypt.

The evacuation is very expensive though and that's why I have initiated this GoFundMe campaign to raise $125,000 to facilitate my family's evacuation to Egypt.

Here's a breakdown of the funds:

The only way out of Gaza right now is through Rafah Border, which requires a fee of $7500 for adults and $4000 for children.

There are 10 adults and 9 children in my family.

Therefore, we would need about 111,000$ to enable all of my family members to flee from the war in Gaza.

$10,000 for Immediate Support: This portion will go towards providing immediate assistance to my family when they are in Egypt. It will cover their basic needs for accommodation, food, and other essentials during the transitional period.

~ $3,600 to cover GoFundMe's Transaction fees. The transaction fee is at 2.9%+$0.25 per donation at the moment.
