Help Donna - Breast Cancer Fund
Donation protected
One of the kindest, most giving souls out there needs our help. A couple of weeks ago, my sister-in-law, Donna, called to tell me news she was afraid to say out loud: she had a lump in her breast that was painful to the touch. Donna learned she has an aggressive form of cancer, Invasive Ductal Carcinoma - Poorly Differentiated.
Unfortunately, Donna is currently experiencing a gap in insurance coverage, and will need to raise money to cover her out-of-pocket costs of at least $17,000. This financial support will cover her until her open enrollment period begins for health care begins in November. If ever there was a soul worthy of crowdfunding to take care of medical expenses, Donna is that soul.
Donna has always put others first and worked to help the vulnerable, including her disabled husband. Since leaving her job of 15 years working with kids with special needs at the local school district, Donna has worked two jobs serving disabled adults. She currently is a caregiver for adults with special needs, teaching them life skills and offering any medical support needed. She has always put others first. She even stocked our refrigerator and freezer when my husband and I were first married. She has been there for me and my two kids every single day since my husband and her brother, John, died suddenly in 2017.
Our family has been through so much and the thought of losing Donna is unbearable. If you can help support this caring angel, we would be so grateful. Donna has always “paid it forward” and my hope is that we can do the same for her. She has a mastectomy scheduled for July 23rd, so it is imperative that we ask for help quickly. Thank you for helping this angel on earth.
If you would prefer to donate by cash or check, please email me directly for my address, I can then deposit directly to this page. Any amount helps. Please share Donna's story with everyone you know.
