Skiers and Snowboarders friend, organiser, and loyal member Nye bought a car for the 2015 snow season, a comfortable and safe 4WD car. His intentions in purchasing the car were four-fold:

1- To give snow lovers lifts to/from the snow

2- To provide adequate gear transport with board/ski racks

3- To provide a safe drive to the snow

4- To make travel convenient for the group

After having a blissful, powder-filled weekend, a series of unfortunate events unfolded for Nye. On the drive back to Sydney Sunday night, Nye's car hit a Kangaroo. Thankfully, the four passengers were all OK, but the car is most likely totaled. In addition to car repair or replacement costs, Nye had to pay a small fortune to have his car towed from Bredbo to Sydney.

To make matters worse, Nye's snowboard gear fell from roof racks and were mostly destroyed by oncoming traffic.
