Ciao! Sono Michela e ho organizzato questa raccolta fondi per sostenere la ricostruzione di un monastero in Portogallo che ha subito gravi danni a seguito di un incendio.
Il monastero di Palaçoulo (Portogallo) è una nuova fondazione nata nel 2020 dal monastero trappista di Vitorchiano, nei pressi di Roma. Mia sorella è una delle monache che sono partite per questa nuova missione.
La mattina del 27 gennaio alle 6,15 del mattino si è sviluppato un incendio nel sottotetto dell'edificio destinato all'ospitalità dei visitatori. Lo stabile danneggiato dall'incendio era stato costruito solo da pochi anni ed era l'unica parte completata di tutto il monastero. Gli edifici rimanenti sono ancora in costruzione.
I fondi raccolti saranno destinati alla ricostruzione del tetto, dei locali danneggiati e al riacquisto dei materiali che in essi erano contenuti.
Certi che la Provvidenza del Signore porta sempre a compimento l’opera che inizia, ti invito a sostenere la ricostruzione di quanto andato perduto nell'incendio!

Hi! I'm Michela and I organized this fundraiser to support the reconstruction of a monastery in Portugal which suffered serious damage following a fire.
The monastery of Palaçoulo (Portugal) is a new foundation born in 2020 from the Trappist monastery of Vitorchiano, near Rome. My sister is one of the nuns who left for this new mission.
On the morning of January 27 at 6.15 am a fire broke out in the attic of the building intended for hosting visitors. The building damaged by the fire had only been built a few years ago and was the only part of the monastery that was completed. The other buildings, which will complete the new monastery, are in fact still under construction.
The funds raised will be used to reconstruct the roof, the damaged rooms and the repurchase of the materials contained therein.
Certain that the Providence of the Lord always brings to completion the work it begins, I invite you to support the reconstruction of what was lost in the fire!
