Dan Snodgrass Fund
Donation protected
Friends and Family,
As many of you know Dan was recently diagnosed with Chondrosarcoma, a rare form of cancer that produces tumors impacting the bodies' skeletal system. Affecting only some 600 people a year, these tumors can form at any age, have no known cause and are resistant to chemotherapy and radiothearapy. This makes surgery one of the only options for removing the tumor.
Dan's tumor was luckily discovered early, making surgery an option for his full recovery. Because of its rarity, few specialists in the United States have the necessary experience to operate on a skeleta sarcoma. We are extremly grateful that the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota has agreed to take Dan on as a patient and perform the surgery. The tumor, which has grown 20% in the past two months, will have to be very carefully removed by Mayo's team of specialists.
This fund is designed to help Dan and his family defray the many expenses associated with the surgery, the many trips between Cleveland and Minnesosta to come and to help during his recovery. If you know Dan and Cheryl, and Danielle, Danny and Ashleigh, you know how tough their family is. They will get through this.
Please consider contributing and help spread the word. On behalf of Dan, Cheryl, Danielle, Danny, Ashleigh, and the whole Snodgrass famliy - thank you.
