Last year in September my brother got a very serious infection and in October was hospitalized for a month because the infections werent responding to medications.
He underwent 7 surgeries during his hospital stay with new complications arising such as kidney problems & blood transfusions which seemed daily. He had 7 specialist and was out of work until April.
Once he was stable enough & released from the hospital he was on IV antibiotics daily for 6 weeks, he had a Physical Therapist makeing house visits to help him gain his strength back after being bedridden for a month and a nurse that made weekly visits to check in on him.
Since then he has been in & out of the hospital for medical treatments & relaspes of the infection.
In February he went back to the hospital where he stayed for a little over a week & underwent another surgery. Again he was sent home with another 6 weeks of antibiotics & in home care.
In July he was admitted again
for 2 weeks & he underwent 3 more surgeries. He continues to need follow ups with doctors & the wound care center a few times a week.
Chris was able to work for a short period of time prior to his third setback & is now on disability.
Due to nursing visits, hospital stays & medication expenses he has had bills pileing up.
Chris has been incrediably strong through all he has been through & your support and prayers would be greatly appreciated. Anything you can give would be a HUGE blessing.. I know my brother & our family would be greatly appreciative.
