Breast Cancer stage 2

Hi, my name is Diana Bonilla Our family is doing s go fund me for our aunt Florinda Bonilla Clark she is a wonderful hard-working mom, sister, aunt, colleague and friend to all. In late November of 2021, Flor was diagnosed with Stage 2 Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Due to this aggressive type of cancer, she has already started chemotherapy but unfortunately has had multiple negative side effects such as infections and heart concerns that have landed her two long stays in the hospital which they had to stop her chemo until the infection is gone.

She’s worked for over a decade for Tomball ISD and is currently insured through Ambetter. However, due to the cost of co-insurance she is facing extremely expensive out-of-pocket costs. She’s also needing a port for her treatment that is not covered under her specific insurance plan. And on top of it all, she has missed a lot of work since being admitted to Woodlands Memorial Hermann. As a family we are turning to the community in our time of need. These expenses are a heavy financial burden to bare alone, as Flor also has 5 children, 1 of which has special needs and 2 of which are under the age of 6. No amount is too small to help Flor fight breast cancer without also having to fear not being able to afford all of the necessary procedures/treatments.
