My story is one of a lifetime of dealing with the progressive form of Muscular Dystrophy.  I never wanted anyone to wait on me and was always very independent.  In the past year I have been gradually becoming more and more unable to be that independent person.  I have fallen several times and fractured my wrist and now my hip.  I would like to remain as independent as possible, but financially cannot afford the vehicle and lift needed to remain independent and working.  Our family has always been one that has given to anyone in need.  We have opened our house to several persons that needed a place to stay while getting back on their feet.  We have felt that we were here to provide a ministry to others and now find ourselves at a crossroads in our own journey.  My wife was dismissed from her job after 33 years and went back to school to gain more job skills.   She now has a job which is exceptional and rewarding but not as lucrative.  We struggle to provide a home for us and for her mother and our son who also lives with us.  I appreciate any gift you may be able to give to this campaign and thank you all.
