Please Help a Beautiful Soul

My name is Kayla Madden and I am a Registered Nurse at NYU Long Island. One of my coworkers, who at this time would like to remain anonymous, and her two sons lost their house and everything they owned in a fire last night, 1/9/2022.

If anyone knows my coworker, you are blessed and privileged. My coworker goes above and beyond as a Registered Nurse, a friend, a coworker, a daughter and a mother. She has a heart of gold and puts that into all she does. To hear this happen to anyone, but especially this wonderful woman, is truly heartbreaking.

The NYU family is so saddened by this event and would love to show her how much she means to us and stand by her as she tries to rebuild from the ground up. Any little bit you can donate will help her and her sons immensely. I know she will appreciate this beyond words when she is able to see all the love and support gathered around her at such a hard time.
