The Manhattan Prairie Dogs Fund

Dear friends, 

The Manhattan Prairie Dogs are holding their annual Bake Sale at Big Apple Ranch.  It is not a good idea that I bake, so I am raising funds in an alternate manner.

This dance troupe, in my opinion, carries on a very important mission:  breaking constraining norms defined by established gender normality.

This is a very special family to me since I get to witness a creative process that starts as a concept on recycled pieces of paper and evolves into an art-form of color, music and movement that elicits smiles, laughter and joy. I also get to dance!

I’m reaching out asking for contributions for our endeavor; a precious one to me. Prairie Dogs usually say: "We may be cheap, but our costumes most certainly are not!"
