This fundraiser has been set up to support Rebeca during an incredibly challenging time.

Over the past year, she has gone through more than anyone should have to—countless hospital visits, tests, surgeries, and uncertainty. Recently, she finally got answers, but not the ones she was hoping for. Rebeca has been diagnosed with an incurable and extremely rare cancer: primary pulmonary synovial sarcoma.

She has already started chemotherapy and completed 2 out of 6 cycles. The treatment is tough and has taken a real toll on her, making it impossible for her to work full-time right now. At the same time, the company she was working with has just shut down, leaving her without a stable income just when she needs stability the most.

Rebeca lives in London with her husband, Connor, who is supporting her every step of the way. But living in London on one income—combined with limited benefits support—is simply not enough to cover everything during this period.

This fundraiser aims to ease that pressure, so Rebeca can focus on what really matters: her treatment, her strength, and getting through this.

Esta campaña se ha creado para apoyar a Rebeca en un momento muy difícil.

Durante este último año, ha pasado por algo muy duro: hospitales, pruebas, cirugías y mucha incertidumbre. Hace poco por fin llegaron respuestas… pero no las que esperábamos. Rebeca ha sido diagnosticada con un cáncer muy raro y que no tiene cura: sarcoma sinovial pulmonar primario.

Ya ha empezado la quimioterapia y ha completado 2 de los 6 ciclos. El tratamiento está siendo muy intenso y no puede trabajar a tiempo completo en estos momentos. Además, la empresa con la que trabajaba ha cerrado, por lo que ahora mismo no tiene ingresos estables.

Rebeca vive en Londres con su marido, Connor, que la está apoyando en todo. Pero vivir en Londres con un solo sueldo—y con ayudas públicas limitadas—no es suficiente para cubrir todos los gastos en esta situación.

El objetivo de esta campaña es aliviar esa presión, para que Rebeca pueda centrarse en lo más importante: su tratamiento y su recuperación.
