Where do I even begin… On June 5th our family received some devastating news. Tina, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to so many went into the hospital for severe abdominal pain. They ran tests and did scans and found cancer in her uterus that had spread all throughout her lungs. She was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Tumors. One of the most rare and aggressive forms of cancer there is. Tina decided to do chemo but after the first round, she decided to stop as she wanted to live the rest of her life in as less pain as possible and be surrounded by love from her family. Sadly, the cancer moved quickly and Tina passed away on August 15th. Our entire family is devastated and filled with grief and sadness. She was a kind and loving woman and she will be sorely missed. Her smile and laugh were so contagious and she could make anyone laugh with her silly, witty jokes. As our family plans her celebration of life and given the short time frame and very unexpected loss of Tina- We ask if you could find it in your hearts to donate anything to help us be able to celebrate Tina during this difficult time.
