Help Me Begin a New Chapter

Hi, my name is Lucrezia.

I’m a queer artist, performer, and trans woman from Tbilisi, Georgia. I’ve spent years creating work that tells the stories of queer existence, survival, and beauty even in the face of brutal repression. But now, I find myself at a turning point.

Living openly as a trans woman in Georgia has become not only emotionally exhausting but increasingly unsafe. The political climate continues to grow more hostile, and the daily toll it takes on my body, my mind, and its becoming too much for my spirit to carry on alone in this country .

I’ve made the difficult and deeply personal decision to leave my country not because I want to abandon it, but because I want to stay alive, stay creative, and stay me.

This is not just a move. It’s a journey toward healing. Toward safety. Toward a future where I can grow into the woman I am without fear and continue to make art that gives voice to people like me.
