Help Brandon Finish College at VU

Hello family, friends, and future friends, I am Brandon Currin and I am going to enter my final year at Vanguard University of Southern California. I am going to attain my Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology after I complete this final year along with a minor in Biology (with over a 3.5 GPA, too). My dream is to be the first in my family to graduate with a Bachelor's degree and enter graduate school. My goal in life is to aid those who are hurt either mentally or physically, thus I want to pursue further education once I graduate from Vanguard University so I may be well-equipped for this.

Although I can see the finish line, I need your help getting there. Due to some financial hardships that hit my family this year due to illness, resulting medical bills, and other essential expenses, we cannot afford to pay for my last semester's tuition bill and the first payment of next semester's tuition bill. This adds up to $3000. If this amount is not met by August 1st, I cannot move onto campus or be able to finish my last year of school. I have saved up money through various jobs and we have paid off what we could, but it has not been enough. We have exhausted all our resources, which is why we really are leaning on God and on you, friends, to help me get back to school this final year and finish strong!

I have learned a lot through Vanguard. It has strengthened my relationship with God, given me great godly friends, and challenged me in pursuing all aspects of life through a Christ-like perspective. So far, I have been involved in student leadership at Vanguard University through Diversity Programming. I spent a year learning what it is to be a leader, serve others humbly, and discover why God makes us all so different, yet, equal in Him. Since then, I have been involved in multiple student clubs. This upcoming year, I am going to be involved in student leadership again through Diversity Programming. I am excited for what the future holds and cannot wait to make an impact not only on my campus, but on the students within it. Vanguard University has also challenged me academically and connects all course-work to our mission as Christ-followers. This is why I really want to finish my last year at Vanguard. 

I am from a single-parent household so any donation would help out greatly! I would also like to offer services to any of you who are willing to donate, no matter how big or small the donation. If you need a car wash, someone to do yard work, babysit, or paint your fence, I am willing to lend my services!
