She was our Nana, Momma, Auntie Mary, friend, confidant,  teacher, sister, at times caregiver.  Mary loved her family and her dear friends and was loved by all.  Her love of eating and sweet disposition brought most of us to shame (especially her love of eating). 

She was truly a selfless person, who was always active in her community as a lunch lady and an avid swimmer. She was known for  opening up her home to family who needed it and feeding those that were hungry.
