Support for Brad Woods Family

Brad Woods was the heart and soul of his family—devoted partner, loving father, son, and friend—who was taken from us far too soon. After a courageous 2.5-year battle with Esophageal Cancer, Brad passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025, leaving a void that no words can fully express. His loss has left an immense hole not only in his family’s hearts but in the lives of everyone who was fortunate enough to know him.

Brad leaves behind his partner, Kirsi Kuokkanen, the love of his life, as well as their two children—11-year-old Parker, his best friend and son, and 7-year-old Aila, who held her dad’s heart. Brad dedicated his life to providing for his family, ensuring they always had everything they needed. His passing has brought unimaginable grief to Kirsi and their children, and they are now navigating a world without the man who meant everything to them.

For the past six months, Kirsi has been solely focused on caring for Brad, taking time off work to be his primary caregiver, and providing support for their children through this overwhelming journey. Since his diagnosis, Brad has been unable to work, further adding to the financial strain during this devastating time.

As Kirsi and the kids face a future without Brad, we, as her family, are reaching out for any support to help ease the financial burden they now carry. This support will allow Kirsi to focus on grieving and healing without the added worry of day-to-day expenses. Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly to Kirsi and her children, giving them the resources they need to move forward during this heartbreaking time.
