Financial Assistance Needed
Donation protected
Hello my name is Jonathan Golby. Approximatly one year ago I attempted suicide, and it has been a rough battle over the last 12 months, mentally and financially. My former real estate brokerage esentially blackballed me when I was upfront and honest about my mental health situation. In March of this year, I decided it was time to leave the brokerage, and go back to my old brokerage. During this transition, there has been a major economic downturn in the economy which we are all feeling the impact of now. With the gracious help of close friends, I have been able to keep the house afloat and food on the table and my little monkey Harry fed.
I have been applying for some part time positions so that I can still maintain my real estate career, however I keep getting rejection after rejection due to being "over qualified" to even do a minimum wage job. I never in a million years thought that having a bachelors degree, and a masters degree would make me "over qualified." The rejection has been overwhelming to say the least.
With that being said, bills have started to pile up again starting with my cell phone being shut off already, next my car will be repossed on November 5th, and eviction / foreclosure proceedings have commenced on my home. Any funds that are donated will go directly to assist in making a car payment first so that I have a form of transportion to and from work should I procure a part or full time job. I have reached out to Bay Area Legal services to help assist with matters pertaining to the eviction / foreclosure proceedings.
I have always prided myself in being a very independant person, and this is extreemly hard for me to start this fundraiser, to that I say thank you in advance. Every little bit helps.
To break down the expenses:
1. To hold off reposesson of my car = $750.00
2. To delay the evicition foreclosure process $4,361
