Unexpected Medical Crisis

My name is Melinda Hart, I recently had a partial foot amputation due to severe bone and tissue infection after having blood infection. Somehow after the foot amputation the infection came back with vengeance and unexpectedly found out I required an emergency amputation of my right leg below the knee. This was done on March 6th 2025. On the 25th of February my husband Curtis was terminated from his job and because he was short on hours he doesn't qualify for EI benefits. My amputation could not have happened at a worst time. My medical insurance does not cover my medication or banadages that I'm going to need. I do not have homecare. Plus the additional expenses of getting me to and from medical appointments.

I'm not usually someone who asks for help but we really could use some. I promise we'll pay it forward to our community.
