Support Grace's Fight Against Cancer

Hi, my name is Stanley Hodgdon, also known as Jake, and I’m fundraising for my incredible mother, Grace Savageau.

Just seven months ago, our family faced heartbreaking news. My mom was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and underwent surgery. We hoped that would be the end of her battle, but life had other plans. Now, she’s been diagnosed with kidney cancer and is preparing for another major surgery. That was just done on Thursday, so it will be followed by radiation treatment.

Grace has been out of work since January, and the financial toll is growing rapidly. Medical bills, prescriptions, travel to specialists and to our surgeries down in Boston, and her everyday living expenses are piling up as she continues to fight for her life and her future.

My mom is the kindest, most giving person you could ever meet. She’s a devoted mother, a loyal friend, and the kind of woman who puts everybody else before herself. Even now, she worries more about being a burden than about her own pain.

We’re asking for help, whether it’s five dollars or simply sharing this page. Every contribution brings us closer to easing the financial burden so my mom can focus on healing.
