Hello! We are driving the PanAmerican Highway all the way to Argentina! This trip is self-funded, however with such a large budget, any and all help is welcome. Our names are Theo, James, Caleb, and Karl and we could not be more thankful for the PanAmerican journey we have been on so far. Our agenda as we drive the Americas to Patagonia includes volunteering at multiple non-profits and ministries, learning from the cultures of the 14 different countries we will pass through, hearing and sharing people's stories along the way, and experiencing the beauty of this incredible planet we call home.
This is not a missions trip. This is not a vacation. This is a journey. Along the way, we plan to establish daily rhythms of devotions, conversations, and exploration that will grow us as men who constantly focus on the needs of those around us.
Please, check out the detailed budget on our website (under “The Details” tab) to know exactly what your funds will be supporting. We want to capture this trip well, and hopefully create content to share with those back home. All donors (who do not say otherwise) will be named/thanked on our website. We have self-funded the remainder of this trip by each working multiple jobs this past summer. That is why we are setting our goal at only a fraction of our full budget. If for any unforeseen reason along the way the trip falls through, all donated funds will be given to the various ministries we have visited in Central America thus far.
We are not blindly claiming that this trip is going to change lives other than our own. However, whether it be friends we get to share a meal with along the way or people who are inspired through our blog posts, our hope is that it would.
