Dear Friends and Family of Tommy Taylor,

Over the past 3 years, our friend, Tommy Taylor, suffered numerous debilitating strokes.  Most recently, Tommy has been confined to lengthy stays at a hospital and rehabilitation center in Atlanta, Georgia.  His physical and communicative abilities have declined tremendously due to the damage caused by the strokes.  As a result of his confinement to hospital beds, his leg was amputated.  The amount of devastation that the  strokes and quality  of care that Tommy has received over the past few months is indescribable.  It has 
wreaked havoc on his physical and most importantly, his emotional state.  To witness it first hand is truly heartbreaking.  Tommy was a strong and fearless leader on and off the football field.   I can tell you, he still is.  He is fighting for his life.  A couple of weeks ago, the doctor's prognosis was grim and  Tommy rose to the occasion by snatching the life support apparatus from his nose.  Upon hearing this news, we all chuckled, because it was apropos of our dear friend, Tommy Taylor.  Unfortunately, Tommy's condition took a turn for the worse and he was released to his family in Tennessee to begin his transition, hospice care.

Tommy Taylor was an exceptionally proud man.  It was one of the qualities that we admired about him.  However, our dear friend needs our support and financial assistance.  Please donate to assist Tommy's family  to take care of his most immediate needs.  Thank you and God Be With, Tommy Taylor.
