Donate for a Life-Changing Prosthetic Leg

On August of 2024 I had a heart attack and died for four minutes, then 3 coronaries in which the doctor and nurses fought to keep me alive though the chances that I would survive were slim to none. However, I pulled through with the help of those amazing staff members at the hospital. For two weeks I was sedated and strapped down to a bed since they intubated me. I had necrosis, septic shock, because of all the antibiotics I got c-diff…yet I made it through. I couldn’t move my hands, arms, legs or feet since I had been sedated for so long. After 53 days at the hospital I was released to my home with the help of muses and CNA’s. I had blisters on my feet due to being in bed for so long and I finally had use of my hands and arms but…I still couldn’t stand or walk. Then December came and I didn’t make sense and I couldn’t understand things, so I got rushed to the hospital again. After an MRI, they realized that blister I had got infected (though it was constantly being checked on and cleaned) and the doctor gave me the news: we have to amputate. My right leg is now gone below the knee. I got sent home with no nurse, no help, thankfully my nurses at the hospital trained my mom and dad on how to take care of me. Medicaid wouldn’t pay for help and in the end of January 2025 they denied help. I need a prosthetic to be able to try and have a normal life again, but without money and without insurance, I can’t even attempt to get one. Please help me to get my prosthetic while I keep battling with Medicaid for help.
