(many thanks to Tracy Moore for helping set this up)
It’s hard for anyone to ask for help. It's especially difficult for the kind of people who have been pulling themselves up by their bootstraps their whole lives. You know the kind, working hard at every single job, sometimes two or three jobs at a time.
That’s who LaHoya Curtis is… an extremely hard worker who pushes through daily pain due to chronic illnesses and yet still manages to care for those around her.
Right now, LaHoya also known by her friends. As HOWA) and her housemate and longtime friend, Jasmyn ( known by her childhood friends as Stephanie), are at a point in life where they need help from their many friends and perhaps even the kindness of strangers.
Both women are dealing with many difficult health issues. Mobility, chronic pain etc. Howa has made some progress. On building the house on land that she owns. However, skyrocketing costs and inflation have made it impossible. To move forward in a timely manner. Thus, this plea asking all of you to please consider donating to help their cause
Jasmyn is battling an unbelievable mixture of autoimmune diseases (plus Parkinson’s, CIDP and Lyme disease), as only a warrior can do. As a result of these many illnesses, she is not able to work. Her health is as such that she needs to be in a place she’ll never have to leave and can live out the rest of her days in peace.
Her health and Howa's is as such that they need our help.
Times are tough for many right now, and while it may be difficult for you to donate much, if many give a little bit, it will make a huge difference in both of their lives. Anyone that knows our Howa. Knows she'd give the shirt off her back to a stranger.
Time is of the essence, your help is needed. Any help is huge.
Another way you can assist is by sharing this request.
Or you can donate directly to Howa’s Venmo or CashApp:

CashApp ( $HowaCurtis ).
May you find it in your hearts to assist these dear women . Having a safe place to rest, to live, is something every human should have. Please help as you are able. Thank you immensely and sincerely.
