Hi we are Joyce & Jessica. We are starting a fundraiser for our beloved "Uncle" Hal and his family! Hal is a beloved part of our family who came to us by loving our Sister/Aunt Karen so dearly, we could not imagine our family without him!

Hal went over seas to Germany to visit his son Nathan who is in the army and stationed in Kuwait, but met him while on R&R.

On October 2nd, we got a call that he was in the hospital. He had a minor heart attack and had to have surgery to have a stint put in. They also found 2 blood clots in his lungs. Hal is currently in ICU stable condition. He will have to stay there a little longer than planned!

Due to his condition, he is not allowed to fly home! The only way for him to return home is to come over by boat. This is a big ordeal. He will have to wait until the 20th, but more than that is the cost!! His son Nathan has been granted Emergency Medical Leave to get his dad home via the boat. The cost of the trip will be anywhere between $2500 - $4000 each, so could be a total of $8000 to bring them both to the states!!! 

As if this couldn't be any worse, his wife Karen is here, stuck in the states! They are away from each during a time when a husband and wife are supposed to be together. 

Uncle Hal means so much to all of us! Please help us raise the money it is going to take to bring him home to his family and most of all to his wife!! 

It doesn't matter how big or small, anything you can give to help us get our Hal home would be greatly appreciated! 

All money raised will go to Hal & family to get him home!!
