Support Enzo's Journey to Recovery

We are a group of friends, coming together to support a family we love deeply — Irene Cultura and Paolo Gesmundo, and their youngest son, Garett Enzo Gesmundo.

Garett Enzo Gesmundo, at 3 years old is the sweetest, most joyful little boy — always smiling, always lighting up the room with his laugh and gentle spirit. He is the baby of the family and the center of Irene and Paolo’s world.

Tragically, Enzo recently drowned in a heartbreaking accident. Though he was revived, he suffered severe brain damage due to prolonged lack of oxygen. His survival is a miracle in itself — but now he faces a long, uncertain journey toward recovery.

Enzo’s life has forever changed, and his family is now facing an overwhelming journey filled with medical treatments, 24/7 care, and painful unknowns. He is currently under palliative care — with doctors working to manage his comfort while still exploring therapies and interventions that might offer a chance at recovery, no matter how small.

We, his friends and extended community, are asking for your support in easing the massive emotional burden on this family. Your generous support will help cover:

1) Specialized medical care and treatments not covered by medical insurance

2) Neurological and physical therapies

3) Medical equipment and support systems at home

4) Any hope-driven treatment options that arise

No parent should ever have to face what Irene and Paolo are going through — watching their vibrant, beautiful son lie still, clinging to hope. But through the darkness, we believe in community, in compassion, and in the power of love and support.
