Officer Support

A son, husband, father of 4, a friend to some and a brother to ALL. He is the first through the door and the last one out.

In ESU (Emergency Service Unit) he has shielded his team to its entirety while working in RNDC he protected everyone in Blue or White.

On January 15, 2025 he was suspended from work due to a use of force with a PIC (Person in Custody) who had assaulted other staff prior to assaulting Officer Covington. The PIC assaulted Officer Covington with blood infested saliva that landed on Officer Covington.

As this was an action beyond anyone’s control; Officer Covington was able to stay calm and followed the necessary protocols and refrained from being excessive.
