Hey guys, my name is Manhen Niklaus.

I am reaching out on behalf of my family and in particular my amazing and beautiful fiancè Melissa, who has recently been diagnosed with cancer - Hodgkin's Lymphoma, stage 4.

Our story in a nutshell:

Mel noticed a lump above her collarbone and immediately booked in to see the doctor for the following day.

An ultrasound led to a CT scan, and we received news of concern the day before Koa's 1st birthday party. The CT showed enlarged lymphnodes in her chest, and a mass in the left lung.

A whirlwind 7 weeks and numerous scans, blood tests, and several biopsies for Mel, had finally uncovered a diagnosis.

Chemotherapy has commenced and will be ongoing for the next 6-8 months which means Mel will be out of work, working through the side effects and symptoms whilst we will be still looking after our beautiful 1 year old boy, Koa.

I'll still be running my small business through out our appointments and scans that will be happening as often as need be.

Life needs to still go on and we understand this completely! It's going to have it's tough and trying moments but, we are ready as a family and we're up for the fight!

We will kindly ask for some assistance/help from you guys over this time to support us with outgoing medical bills, travel to and from Peter Mac and parking, and for the loss of Melissa's income over the course of the next 12 months.

We are ever so grateful and appreciative for any help, as I know it will go a long way for our little family.
