I am Arun and this is my story. In the past 40 years, my life has witnessed love, success, failure and agony. It is also these experiences that has shown me the most important things in life is to Love, be Humble, Never give up and be Compassionate.

 

From being able to walk and drive a bike, I hit crossroads when the growth of my right leg made me bedridden. Did I give up? No. With the support of family, friends and many good hearted souls I got myself a customized wheelchair and a wheelchair friendly vehicle. Life was different in a wheelchair but there was a lot of hope inside me.

 

Corona didn’t spare me either. I was hospitalized for a month in critical condition. Pressure sores in my leg led to the AMPUTATION of my right leg above knee.

And now I am ready to stand on my own and walk again with the help of a prosthetic leg after 12 long years.
