Dax's Recovery

My name is Patrick and I'm fundraising for my friend and co-worker, Alton Dax Fields. Dax recently suffered a life-threatening infection that led to the amputation of his leg below the knee. He is currently in the hospital recovering, but he will need a lot of help in the coming months.

Dax has been working at Ludlum Measurements for 27 years. He is an electronics tech, but he will not be able to work until he has recovered and fitted with a prosthetic leg. He will also need to make modifications to his home, such as converting his bathtub into a walk-in shower.

I'm asking for your help to raise money for Dax's medical expenses and home modifications. Any amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated.

Here are some of the specific ways your donation will be used:

Medical expenses: This includes any uncovered costs of Dax's hospital stay, surgery, and medications.

Home modifications: This includes the cost of converting the bathtub into a walk-in shower, installing grab bars, and making other changes to make his home accessible.

Lost wages: Dax will not be able to work for several months, so he will need help covering his living expenses such as house and car payments.

How can you help?

You can help Dax by donating to his GoFundMe campaign. Any amount you can give will make a difference. You can also share his story on social media and encourage others to donate.
