Hello my name is jason smith and my wife name is ernestine. I am fundraising to sustain a modest living for me and my wife and of coarse our lovely puppy chucky. I am hoping to raise enough funds to supplement my disability payment in order to support a 3 day a week , 4-5 hours a day, coffee, a snack , and a bus ticket to those in need of a safe transport to a hospital, shelter, or a treatment centre, in order to help another brother or sister find a starting point and a simple, fresh beginning to a sober journey that at one point in my life i never new or thought was possible.

A smile , hug and a handshake , along with sometime with our puppy pit / corso , goes along way when things seem bleak, and just when you think tou are all alone, you find a new support , who at one time was in your shoes or much much worse , offering a different, new way of getting along in this world with out the crutch of alchol, drugs or crime, but a much more rewarding experience of passing what was offered to you , free of charge , the only requirement is a will to walk a path of peace, love and undetstanding, meeting others that were in your shoes at one point in time, leading a stable , alchol and drug free lufestyle that was never thought possible.

Our mission is to encourage one person at a time , a way out of the turmoil , a chaos , from a former canadian and world renound boxing champion , who himself fell into the bottomless pit of addiction, homeless, street life, institutional imprisonment, losing all hope and faith that he could ever correct the mistakes he made in his world wind of self destruction, and selfishiness , one day being offered a way out of the hoplessiness, that ended his profamed boxing career, losing his first wife and family to his total disregard of the 'norm' and taking the path of the outlaw , spending much time behind bars, tgen one day life did not seem worth saving, until being offered a much easier , simple way to live his life, with out the hoplessiness and despair if he was willing to do the work , to get clean and sober, lead a crime free life , and become a part of society that has to offer much more than a burden to all those around him, finding a solution to the life he once embraced . PASSING ALONG WHAT WAS GIVEN TO HIM SO FREELY, the only requirement was the willi to look in the mirror and admit his wrongs, and by given away what was give to him, alliwing the 'pass it on' to follow its coarse and bring love, life and laughter to a once empty soul.

The total cost of our 9 month project is the personal time,, and effort of my wife , myself and of course chucky, the compasion dog;, the coffe , snack and buss ticket. Bei g no overhead cost, everything is done on the nightly journey of offering the gift of sobiety, freedom and peace , alk starting with a smile , hug and hand shake, a starting point of where to begin the new journey.

We are starting with a 9 month plan , in helping as many brothers and sisters as time allows, giving a felliow addict, a way out , tge only requirement is the williness to pass on the gift that was given to him, helping another with a new and exciting way of life.

Our family will be out rain or shine, pass along the gift of new life , hoping to help those who want to change the despair and pain of drugs and street kife, in order to become a new nember of society , alway remebering that the way out was the glory of one persons love, offering a a new and rewarding way of life in one person helping another , one smile at a time .
