This GoFundMe is for Anna Feagans, a dear friend of mine. Anna has recently undergone surgery to remove a tumor in her brain, for a second time, after kicking it’s ass 10 years ago. She is currently in the ICU waiting to hear what the next steps will be on her journey forward to beat this.

Anna is the Manager at Cellar + Plate, a local wine bar, and also a yoga instructor at Wellness Collective Studios. She is the person that helps you get through your tough times and is always an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on.

She has now been out of work for over a week with no idea when she will be able, or if she will be able, to return to work.

I’m hoping our community comes together to help her in her time of need with lost income and increasing medical bills.

I would strongly encourage everyone I know in the bar/restaurant industry to give if they can or share this. Being in the industry you know that going to work is how you earn your money, and there’s none coming in if you’re not working! There’s no weeks of sick leave to burn through etc.

Ok this is the easiest way to get the this information out to the most people, I’ve had an ongoing headache for almost a full month. With my history I don’t take headaches lightly, so yesterday my amazing husband laid down the law and took me to the ER had scans done and unfortunately they found a new tumor on my brain with som extra flares that may be inoperable as of now my surgery is scheduled for Tuesday and since this time it’s in a different part of my brain the side effects may be worse than we’re hoping for with some possible permanent weaknesses and motor skill issues here’s the thing it’s not good news but I’m willing to fight for myself and I honestly have the greatest support system possible. I am blessed beyond measure by all of you and remain hopeful and committed to kick this thing’s ass once again, if you’re still with me, I want to fight, I’m

WORTH FIGHTING FOR. I think I finally believe that. I deserve to thrive. I’m good right now and have a room full of family caring for me and did I mention the most amazing husband who’s walking through this with me again 10 years later. So if I need anything I’m learning to finally ask for help, I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH I CAN FEEL THE LOVE FROM YOU PLEASE I’LL TAKE ALL YOU HAVE TO GIVE WHATEVER THAT IS. Tuesday’s update:

Anna asked us to update her progress here on her Facebook. She is now out of surgery in the recovery room and will be placed into ICU overnight. We will have a proper diagnosis in a couple of days once the biopsy results come back. Thank you to everyone that has reached out and please send all prayers and good vibes to Anna at this time.
