If you know me, you know that I absolutely do not like asking for help.

Unfortunately, I need to let go of my pride and ask for help.

The help I am asking for is not for me but for my wonderful daughter, Sarah.

She is 36 years old and is battling Stage 4 kidney disease and also a severe blood clot in her right leg.

She has to have dialysis 3 times a week at her local medical center in Baltimore, Maryland.

Her doctor said it will be a year before she can get on the transplant list.

She is in desperate need of financial assistance.

She is unable to work, has no vehicle, and very limited health insurance, which may go away at any time due to recent legislation.

Although she does have housing at the moment, she is struggling to pay her bills as her roommate, who was helping out, got killed in a car accident a few weeks back.

She is in the process of attempting to get Supplemental Security Income (SSI) from Social Security, but that approval takes 8-12 months according to Social Security.

If you feel called to give, and no amount is too small, your support would go directly toward medical expenses, rent, utilities, and groceries, helping her stay afloat until Sarah gets approved for SSI.
