First Responder In Need
Donativo protegido
This is my brother-in-law, Rob Kemp. Rob has been a peace officer on Medical Campus's for over 20 years, and he's also a paramedic, volunteer firefighter, Dad to two amazing boys, loving brother, uncle, cousin, dedicated son, boyfriend, and friend to many. Rob would give you the shirt off his back and the last dollar in his wallet if needed. He has always put other people and his community before himself, and now Rob needs help from us.
Rob was forced to get the COVID 19 vaccine or be fired from his job. Against his doctor's advice, due to severe allergies, he got the 1st injection while on company time, so he could keep his job of 20 plus years. Almost immediately he went into anaphylaxis, he has been on high dose steroids since and has now developed a perminate heart and lung defect that can be treated but never fully cured. He has been in and out of work for over a year and is struggling financially, as his company is refusing compensation benefits.
In January of 2022, Rob and his family endured the sudden and heartbreaking loss of Joey Kemp due to COVID, and the family came together to bring Joey's wife (me) and two children home from Kansas, all while they were trying to grieve and help Rob as much as they could, but funds are super tight.
Now just yesterday, Rob was in a car accident and was injured, his car has been damaged, and insurance is giving him the runaround and he is faced with having to pay his deductible out of pocket due to the irresponsible actions of another driver.
Rob has served his community for over two decades. He has responded to fire calls, ems call, etc at all hours of the day to help those in need. Please help his family not give him a handout, but a hand up. If you can't donate, please share.
Funds will help Rob cover medical costs, pay household bills, put food in his fridge, care for his two boys, and help repair his car.
Please be well, hug your loved ones, and tell them you love them.
Sincerely,
The Kemp Family
