Samantha Abbo's Teesside, England Mission Trip

Last year, I partnered with my school to run an after-school program in England for two weeks. We worked with Greater Europe Mission (GEM), which partnered with Youth For Christ (YFC) to go into schools and share the name of Jesus! It was an incredible experience, and I felt so strongly that I needed to go back.

But since I’ve graduated and started my masters degree in teaching, I’m stepping out in faith and going alone this time—still partnering with GEM, but for three months! I’ll be placed in England, and will get to teach about Jesus in schools, run an after-school program, and serve in the local church and community. The most important part of this trip is getting into schools and sharing the gospel, and I cannot wait to see how God moves!

To make this happen, I need to raise $6,000. Right now, I’m at $2,000—but fundraising has been slower this time around. Many of the generous people who supported my last trip ($3,200) have already supported me, and I won’t lie—it’s been a harder, slower, and discouraging process to raise this time around. But I know God will provide! I will have to be fully funded by April 25, 2025.
