Hi, my name is Tala, and I am 29 years old.

In November 2023, I travelled to Turkey for dental treatment and promotional work for a dental clinic. What I believed would be a positive step forward became the most traumatic experience of my life.

The dental work went wrong. My teeth were damaged, my jaw became misaligned, and I was left with constant jaw and facial nerve pain. From there, my health rapidly declined.

For seven months, I vomited up to 20 times a day.

Eventually, I received devastating news: I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, which had spread to my lymph nodes, along with a lesion on my head. The cancer weakened my bones and teeth, making the existing damage even more painful and complex.

Trying to survive and access treatment cost me everything. I lost my job, my home, and my car. Today, I live with daily pain, struggle to eat comfortably, and feel unable to smile or live normally.

There is hope. A doctor believes my condition can be treated, but I cannot afford the next stage of care on my own.

خسرت عملي، منزلي، وسيارتي وأنا أحاول فقط البقاء على قيد الحياة وتحمل تكاليف العلاج. أعيش يوميًا في ألم لا ينتهي، غير قادرة على الأكل براحة أو الابتسام بثقة، وأشعر أحيانًا أن حياتي توقفت عند هذا الألم.
