On November 27th, I’m running my first half-marathon!! Not just for myself, but for something so much bigger. I’m running to support the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) and to help raise awareness, hope, and resources for those impacted by eating disorders.
My relationship with movement, food, and my body hasn’t always been easy. Recovery isn’t a straight line. It’s full of good days, hard days, and everything in between. However, over time, with support and a lot of learning to trust myself again, I’ve found strength in showing up for my body, not against it.
Running this race is a celebration of how far I’ve come
and a promise to keep going, for me and for the millions of people who are still fighting. Eating disorders affect individuals and families in real, lasting ways, and every donation goes toward critical programs like NEDA’s helpline, advocacy work, and recovery support.
My goal is to raise $1000 in the weeks leading up to my race. If you’re able, I’d be so grateful for any donation, big or small. And if you can’t give, simply sharing this helps spread awareness and lets others know they’re not alone.
Thank you for supporting something that means a great deal to me.
