As many of you are aware, I'm fairly invested in helping to make the world a happy, safe and healthy place for all.
In July, I'll be travelling to Vietnam in the rural north to volunteer with Hands For Hope. This organisation has no political or religious affiliation and purely want to help children in need. 100% not for profit.
My trip will be self funded, my ticket is literally entirety of my bank balance. I'll also be taking along some supplies purchased out of pocket.
As part of my involvement, I've been asked to raise a minimum sum of $1500 to contribute to the Organisation. This money will pay for the surgery, medicine and hospital stay for the children being helped. $1500 will cover 5 children to receive corrective and life altering surgery. These surgeries will correct congenital birth defects contracted through genetic mutations caused by certain chemicals used in the past, lack of vaccination and also injuries that never were able to be fixed.
To raise this sum, I've set up a go fund me. The more money raised, the more children helped. It's simple.
