Hi, my name is Morgan, I am Todd’s sister. I have set up a donation page for Todd to help with incoming medical expenses, equipment and to continue physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Beginning in March, Todd had experienced headaches and went to the ER, from there he was life flighted to Bryan West in Lincoln due to an aneurysm. During surgery the aneurysm had ruptured causing bleeding. From this he lost movement on the right side of his body and his speech, developing a condition called aphasia. With the help of physical therapy he has learned to walk again and continues to build up strength everyday! His talking is improving as well with the help of his speech therapist. He also has an occupational therapist to learn how to do everyday tasks and learn to do things with his left hand and one handed. The doctor has told him he has a long road ahead of him but we are determined to get him back to living in his own home with the most important person in his life, his son, Aksel. Before this happened Todd was very active running his own auto repair shop with his brother-in-law and towing company. He also was involved with the Fairbury Volunteer Fire Department. All while raising his 12 year old son and helping with the family farm. We appreciate everyone who has been there for our family through all of this it means so much to us. You never know when life will throw a curve ball but at least we still have each other!
