Baylor’s Story:

On April 26, 2019, Baylor was only 5 years old when she diagnosed with DIPG, a pediatric in operable brain tumor with no known cure. She is the daughter of Donnie and Carly Nichols, who met in their early elementary school years, since married and have (3) daughters together. Donnie is a local fire captain and Carly is a local teacher.

Over the last year, the community has rallied behind #BaylortheBrave providing services, monetary donations, attending fundraisers, dropping off meals --- so the family could give Baylor her best life and for the family to be able to make the most memories loving and cherishing her.

Recently, Baylor's condition has progressed, and Carly and Donnie have decided it is best for Carly to take FMLA and stay home with Baylor allowing her to spend as much time with her as well as be her sole caretaker.
