Hi, I'm one of Frankie's moms, Tash - her other mom is Katie. We live in Portland, OR -- Frankie, us, and her sister, Wednesday (her cat sister). We're reaching out to get help with the medical bills our little Frankie has accumulated over the last week. She has been in the hospital battling for her little life, but along with that has come a very high level of care needed.

Frankie is a very sick pup who had salmon poisoning but it has since snowballed into a myriad of other complications. She is currently undergoing a plasma treatment to help move her in the right direction for her recovery, but her outlook is very guarded. Frankie is truly fighting the best she can and we're hoping for the best outcome, but we still need help. Our medical bills have hit the 30k mark and there are still more treatments that she may need.

We're asking a community of people to help with this to offset some of the costs that have come with getting Frankie the best care possible. She's currently at Blue Pearl Pet Hospital fighting and receiving the best care from one of the most incredible teams.

To know Frankie is to have been truly loved by her. Frankie never met a stranger in her life. I'd even go so far as to say she would have abandoned her two moms and her cat sister in a heartbeat to go with someone she had only met 5 minutes ago. The joy of being Frankie's owners over the last 9 years has been a highlight of my life. A constant companion, an undeniable source of joy and comfort, and the smartest good girl to have walked the streets of Portland.

As a queer couple, our dogs or cats aren't just our pets. They are our children, our parents, our siblings, or our best friends. If you're able to help out our precious pup, our hearts would be forever grateful.
