Endometriosis treatment

Hi my name is Caitlin, I am 21 years old and a mum to my beautiful one-year-old son, Noah. Becoming Noah’s mum has been my greatest blessing I am so incredibly lucky However behind the smiles and special moments we have , I have been battling endometriosis — a painful and exhausting condition that affects every part of my daily life.

Living with endometriosis for me means constant extreme pain. Endometriosis is now considered to be in the top 20 most painful conditions in the world! Some days, even the simplest tasks feel overwhelming. As a young mum, it is heartbreaking to feel held back by pain when all I want is to be fully present, active, and healthy for my baby boy. I want to be able to pick him up, play with him, and enjoy these precious moments without being limited by my health. I suffer from pain so severe I struggle to walk, I vomit daily from just how bad the pain is and sometimes pass out. I struggle with insomnia regularly from the pain where I will be stuck on days of no sleep , but also at times suffer from extreme fatigue from the inflammation where I physically can’t keep myself awake, I’m constantly having to spend days in a & e and nights in hospital wards due to ruptured cysts and this is just a very small list of the debilitating symptoms I experience daily. This condition has completely destroyed my quality of life and I don’t want Noah to have to grow up with a sick mum and be spending his days in hospital waiting rooms with me , he deserves the very best

After seeking medical advice, I have been told that surgery is necessary to officially diagnose and treat my endometriosis. This surgery offers the best chance of reducing my pain, improving my quality of life, and allowing me to move forward without relying on strong pain medication. Unfortunately, due to years waiting on the nhs surgery list and the impact this condition is having on my life, I have been advised to pursue private treatment.

How the funds will be used

The funds raised will go directly towards the costs of my private endometriosis surgery. This includes the initial consultation, the surgical procedure itself, hospital and anaesthetist fees, and follow-up care. The estimated cost for the surgery is from £5,500, with additional consultation fees of approximately £200–£250. Any extra funds raised will help cover related medical expenses and recovery costs.
As a young mum, these costs are just not something I can manage alone. Making a go fund me and asking for this kind of help is definitely not easy for me, I can not explain how desperate I am, but I am doing this for my health and for Noah’s future. Every donation, no matter how small, and every share of this page brings me one step closer to getting my life back ❤️
Thankyou for taking the time to read this any donations or shares are massively appreciated x
