Lori Dawn Blanton-Burchett

We have lost a very giving citizen of our community. Lori Dawn Blanton-Burchett passed away March 28, 2016.
Her husband, Randy Burchett is a retired volunteer firefighter of the Frankston community after 25 years of dedicated service and Lori was a volunteer and an EMT and loved working the Frankston area until she was physically no longer able. They both have helped many people, along with the many other members of the fire department and ambulance service.
Lori enjoyed writing grants for the Frankston Volunteer Fire Department. She also organized a fund raiser cook book called called Firehouse Specialties in the late 1980's. Many of you may still have a copy of that cook book. It was published when Don Fitzgerald was Fire Chief. She coordinated the cookbook in the memory of Clem Cecil, Jr.
Randy and Lori's legacy with the fire department goes all the way back to the early 1980's.
They dedicated their time to the best community in East Texas. We are asking for donations to help with Lori's burial expenses. You can make a donation here at Gofundme.com  or if you prefer donations can be made at Austin Bank in Frankston.
Thank you all for your generosity at our time of great loss.
