Oreo, our sweet 6-year-old dog, is more than just a pet — he’s grown up with me and my sister, and he’s truly a part of our family. He’s been by our side through childhood, always offering comfort, joy, and unconditional love. Recently, Oreo became very sick. He’s severely constipated, in pain, and was just diagnosed with a Perineal Hernia, a condition that requires urgent surgery to save his life. A mass was also found in his body that must be removed immediately. He was transferred to the Emergency Pet Hospital of Collier County, where he stayed overnight for testing and care. The veterinarians confirmed he needs surgery as soon as possible. We are doing everything we can, but the cost of his emergency care, testing, and surgery is more than we can handle alone.
