On Tuesday, May 23 Cameron made a visit to his family doctor due to a few recent headaches and a bump on the side of his head.  After a few tests that day, Kristen got a phone call in the evening that they thought Cameron had cancer and to get him to the hospital right away to begin treatment.

They decided to take him to University Hospital in Cleveland. There, they would best be able to diagnose and treat the condition. After several long days of tests, and varying diagnosis, Cameron was finally diagnosed with Acute B ALL Leukemia.

Cameron, being the sweetheart that he is, was more worried about everyone else than what was going on with him. He is ready for the fight that's ahead of him with the love and support of all of his friends and family, both far and near.

Cameron is only 12 and just finished 6th grade at Austintown Middle School. He is a lover of all things Minion and Harry Potter! He is a big teddy bear of smiles and hugs! We know he is hoping to be able to come home soon to enjoy the summer months off, but he's in for a long road of chemo, treatments and visits to Cleveland.

The family wishes to thank everyone that is able to contribute, in any way possible. Please feel free to share the page and pass the word along.

Let's fight for Cameron and be #CAMSTRONG!
