Loving on the McLeans

It is with deepest sorrow that I am setting up this account for my dearest friend Lea who just tragically lost her husband to his battle against undiagnosed mental illness. The long road of grief and healing that her and the children are going to endure is unfathomable and they need us right now. Cohen and Lea have been huge pillars of support to many people over many years, and now it is our turn to do the same for them. While there is nothing that we can do to lessen the pain of Cohen's loss, we can lessen the financial burden that this family now faces to put this beautiful father/husband/brother/son/friend to rest.

In addition, a word from one of Cohen's closest friends...

I am writing this because the world has lost a great man. My friend, brother and inspiration - Cohen McLean. Never have I met a man who battled as hard to become a productive member of society. A great father, husband, boss, and friend, Cohen inspired all who knew him.
The passing of Cohen is unexpected and sudden. The magnitude of this shall send ripples throughout time. Many will feel this throughout our lives and never completely overcome this.
Left behind to mourn this sudden passing is Lea Mclean, his true soulmate and the person who helped shape the man that he was. Four children are left behind to grow and learn and try to navigate this complicated world with their mother, now alone to guide them. Thankfully there are many helping hands and hearts available. At this time I would ask if you can help my friend Lea and her children through this difficult time. Anything will help.
There will be a great financial burden on the family so I am asking all of you to find it in your hearts to help this family gather themselves for this unexpected turn in their long

journey ahead. To ease the burdens and to honour my great friend -Cohen Mclean.
