Monica's Road to Recovery!

Hey all!
I am starting a little fund for Monica. As most of you all know, she was hospitalized a couple of months ago due to bad stomach pains. It turns out, she had a 3lb mass on her ovary. After the mass was biopsied, cancer cells were found and Monica, barely recovering from her first surgery had to go in again to make sure the cancer did not spread to the other side of her ovary.
Luckily, the cancer did not spread and the cancer cells found during her first surgery showed up as being Stage I Ovarian cancer. Although the cancer was caught early and there were no apparent signs of spread, her journey does not end there. At the end of this month (just one day after her birthday!) Monica will be undergoing 3 months of chemotherapy. This will be a huge challenge for her both physically and emotionally, but with her positivity and willingness to beat the cancer, without a doubt, she will beat this. Talking to her everyday, I have never heard her complain about her symptoms or worry about her outcome. Her only worry and fear is that her daughter, Caitlynn (CJ) will be worried about her or be scared.
Not only is she my best friend, she really is an amazing auntie, mother and daughter. I have seen her struggle with being a single mom for years, and can't imagine how difficult this must be for her and her family (even though she doesn't show it or talk about it). With Monica not working, and not planning on working for awhile, until she is in full remission, I would hate for her to worry about being able to financially support herself and her daughter with little to no income within the months to come. I would love reach out, and maybe reach out to other close friends and family so that her main concern and focus should be to get herself better and be there for her daughter.
Anything helps and a little always goes a long way.
