Our brother Joe Trevino fought a long battle with diabetes and heart disease. He underwent several heart surgeries and recently started dialysis 3 times a week. During his dialysis treatment on Monday 07/06/15, he stopped breathing. The EMT’s performed CPR to revive him. He was transported to the hospital where he seemed to be doing fine, and the doctor decided to keep him overnight for observation. He stopped breathing again at 3:30am and went into cardiac arrest. The doctors performed CPR for almost an hour before he started breathing again and was placed on a respirator. The doctors were performing an EEG to determine if there was brain activity. Before the test was completed he stopped breathing again and it was decided the time had come to let him go peacefully. Due to his health conditions he was unable to qualify for life insurance. My family needs help raising funds for our brother’s funeral expense. Any donations are greatly appreciated.
Joe Trevino’s legacy lives on through his 6 children, 2 stepsons, and 10 grandchildren. He fought his battle most especially for his wife, youngest daughter (14), and 3 young grandsons he was helping to raise. Joe was the life of the party and always succeeded in his mission to get the room laughing. What he would want you to know most about him though was that he was a man of faith. During this time we are comforted by his relationship with Jesus, knowing he is with his Heavenly Father and no longer in pain. Please continue to pray for our family during this time
