This is my good friend Adam. Adam is 30 years old. He just got married to his lovely wife, Heather in June 2015. They are expecting their first baby in April of 2016. They are so excited about their new arrival. Adam has been a volunteer firefighter for Warren and Simpson Counties now for years. Adam is also a full time EMT for Simpson County EMS and as well as a prn EMT for Medical Center EMS. Adam has given and still is giving his commitment to those people in both counties, in their time of need. Just a short time ago, Adam was diagnosed with "Hodgkins Lyumphoma", a form of ca. Due to the treatment he needs to take, Adam can no longer work until his chemo treatments are finished. Adam will then be able to return to work, helping those in need, but until then unfortunately Adam does not have disability insurance and is reaching the end to his paid time off. As you can try to imagine, this puts Adam and his new family in a really rough spot trying to deal with both his horrible disease and the financial hardship.
