Hello,
My name is Tanasha Alderson and I’m a mom doing my best to hold things together for my family during an incredibly difficult season. My 10-year-old son, Noah, is the light of my life. He was born with a complex heart condition and has already undergone three open-heart surgeries, with a fourth one upcoming likely for next summer in Boston. He is ventilator-dependent and requires 24/7 medical care. Despite everything, he continues to inspire everyone around him with his courage and smile.
Alongside caring for Noah, I’ve been facing my own serious medical challenges. I am currently dealing with recurring health challenges related to brain tumor after a prior craniotomy. Between recovery, treatment, and caregiving, I’ve been unable to work full-time. We’re doing everything we can to stay afloat, but the combination of medical bills, rising rent, and daily living expenses has become overwhelming.
To make matters worse, a devastating fire swept through our area, leaving behind thousands of charred and unstable trees that now need to be removed for safety. Our property was damaged, and we are still without a functioning well or electricity. We are currently working toward making our tiny home shed livable, its a modest, safe space where Noah can recover comfortably and we can regain stability.
We’re reaching out for help to cover some of the most urgent needs:
Well Completion: $27,000
Electricity Connection: $14,000
Medical Bills: $16,000
Insulation & Drywall Supplies: $1,500
Winter Skirting & Heating Support: $1,000
Every dollar will go directly toward creating a safe, livable home and covering essential medical and living expenses. Any amount — big or small — truly makes a difference.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading, sharing, and supporting us. Your kindness gives us hope that even in the hardest times, we’re not alone.
With gratitude,
The Alderson Family
& Noah The Brave
