Thank you to whomever is reading this. On June 20th my dad Rick Randall was brought to Abbott Northwestern Hospital by ambulance for severe complications related to a gallbladder infection. After a CT scan and many other tests it was discovered that not only was his gallbladder severly infected but he had multiple liver abscesses, which is a very rare and dangerous condition if left untreated. A drain was put in to drain the gallbladder but this caused my dad to become septic. He was transferred to the intensive care unit where strong doses of antibiotics were required to kill the systemic infection. The last month has been filled with ER trips, ambulance rides, tests, and hospital stays. My dad doesn't have short term disability which means my parants have been living off one income for more a month and it sounds like it will be at least another month or more before he will be able to get back to work. He has lost over 30 pounds and is too weak to do the things he needs to. I set this up to help out my parents because they have always supported me and my siblings no matter what and I know they are too proud to ask for help from anyone. If you are able to donate please do, if not please share my message. Thank you.
